Which energy improvement measures can I receive?

Home Insulation

You may be eligible for free grants to install various types of insulation, such as cavity wall insulation, internal wall insulation, loft insulation, and room-in-roof insulation. Proper insulation minimizes heat loss from your home, helping to reduce both energy bills and carbon emissions. If you qualify for an insulation grant—or if your home is already insulated—you could also be eligible for additional grants, including solar panel funding.

Solar Panels

Solar panels are an eco-friendly, low-carbon energy solution that can significantly reduce your energy costs. They work with daylight rather than direct sunlight, meaning they generate electricity even on overcast days. The electricity produced can be used in your home, stored in a battery, or exported back to the grid, allowing you to earn money through the Smart Export Guarantee offered by energy providers.

Heating Solutions

You could receive funding to upgrade to a reliable and efficient heating system for your home. This may include the installation of a new boiler and central heating system for the first time or the implementation of a modern heat pump to provide a more energy-efficient way to heat your home and water. Regardless of the solution chosen, you’ll experience significant savings on your energy bills.

Not all providers in the energy sector are trustworthy.

Rest assured, we collaborate with installers who are fully HIES and EPVS certified, ensuring reliability and quality.

There are various grants available to households, offering funding to enhance your home’s energy efficiency. You may qualify for insulation upgrades and funding for a solar PV system, including solar panels and a storage battery.

These grants aim to improve your home’s energy performance and increase your EPC rating. Navigating the different funding options can be challenging, but that’s where we come in.

We’ll assess your circumstances, including your property and income, to identify the grants you’re eligible for and guide you through the application process. With our expertise, you can avoid unnecessary hassle and confidently secure the funding you deserve.

How Can Energy Grants Benefit UK Homeowners?

Government grants are designed to make it easier and more affordable for UK homeowners to reduce energy consumption, lower energy bills, and cut carbon emissions. These initiatives contribute to the UK’s goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

If you’re looking to improve your home’s energy efficiency with eco-friendly measures, applying for a funding grant could be the perfect solution.

Get the energy grants you’re entitled to

Many people fail to claim the energy grants they are entitled to because they mistakenly believe that they are only available to those claiming government benefits. The good news is, you do not always have to be in receipt of benefits to qualify for a grant.

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme is aimed at helping to reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty. You can apply for a grant if you live in a property that is expensive to heat, or if you or somebody living with you are vulnerable to cold.

FREE energy grants could be available if you considered a vulnerable household and receive at least one of the following benefits:

Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
Income-related Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
Income Support (IS)
Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
Working Tax Credit (WTC)
Child Tax Credits (CTC)
Universal Credit (UC)
Housing Benefit (new eligible benefit under ECO4)
Pension Credit Savings Credit
(new eligible benefit under ECO4)

Additionally, low income households could also be eligible, as can households with poor EPC ratings. Even if you do not qualify for the full cost of insulation or a solar installation, it is still worth applying as you may be able to get a grant to partially cover the cost of your new installation.
